Bharti Airtel - the leading mobile operator has launched 4G technology in Kolkata,India. The Telecom Minister "Kapil Sibal" launched in an event infront of Airtel's Mittal . Airtel is the first player to launch 4G ( TD - LTE )services in India,although Reliance once announced launching 4G in January 2012. But nothing like that happens so far . Airtel grabs the First place in operating 4G service in India.

What are the 4G plans offered by Airtel ?

If you ask for the Plans offered by Airtel ,it will be suitable for those who spend lot on mobile.But for any normal students/people Airtel 4G is not affordable. So the Pricing/Cost of 4G is given and for those who expect unlimited plans, sorry thats not available on 4G .

Airtel Launched Unlimited 3G Plan at 7.2Mbps for Rs.950 - Telecom News

Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of new 3g data plan “Airtel Super 950” in Rajasthan telecom circle. The new unlimited 3G high speed USB data card plan is priced at Rs.950/month and the customer will get a speed of upto 7.2 MBPS for first 6 GB data as a promotional offer said by Airtel Officials.

Airtel 3G is available across 42 towns in Rajasthan and “Airtel Super 950” plan will give best value for money with unlimited data at best or higher speed to airtel’s high-end 3G data users.

Beyond 6 GB, unlimited free downloading speed at 20 kbps. The offer will be valid till 3G Double Dhamaka offer lasts (till 31st Dec 2011), after which the high speed data would be only 2.5 GB.

Even though its a eye catchy offer by Airtel,the speed after the limit of 6Gb is worthless and we can't mean it as 3G data plan with this data rate as other operators like Vodafone,BSNL,Docomo provides an average of 25Kbps speed for their subscribers.
