How to Calculate Energy Use of Home Appliances in Watts ( KWh ) - Power Consumption of Electronics

How to Calculate Power Consumption in Watts

I've shared SOLAR PANELS PRICE IN INDIA , if you want to use or install Solar Plant in your home , you must know " How much power is consumed by your appliances or How much power you need to generate through solar panels " ,

Below , the Table for electronic appliances with its energy consumption in watts is given , you may calculate according to your home needs or usage .

Energy Use of Home Appliances :

 APPLIANCE

1000 W (watts) is 1KW (kilowatt).

Tube Lights consumes about 35 - 40 Watts ,

You may also know your Energy Consumption without any calculation from this link : Calculate Energy Consumption

With this you might calculated the Power that you need to produce from your Solar Panels , so the numer of panels and the capacity of the solar cells will be based on the home energy need .

While purchasing the solar panel - they will ask this parameter , How much Kwh you want to generate from your solar cells , so that time it may be useful .

In the next post , i will be sharing " How to Get Solar Panels and Complete Kits for Cheap Price " , till then You may share this article with your friends via Facebook , Twitter & Google + .

Solar Panels Price in India - How to set up Solar Energy in your Home

solar plant, solar panel, price in india, price in tamilnadu, how to Solar Panel Price

Since the need for Electricity is growing in enormous scale , the govt doesn't seems to plan for any New Power Units to compensate the demand . In fact the duration of Power Cut in the state is going to the worst level , people are more likely to search for " Alternative Source of Energy to power their basic needs / home appliances " , even though setting up a Solar Plant in Home is three time costlier than the power we get from the govt , there is more advantages installing the one at our home .

So before i write briefly about " How to set up Solar Plant in your home " , i would like to show up the price that cost the heart of the system .

The very first thing we need to have is " Solar Panels " , here is the pirce list which is currently being sold in Tamilnadu or other parts of India .

Price of Solar Panels in India :

The price shown below or obtained from the online retailers across our country , compared with many top sellers , we have given the solar panel price below ,

30 watts solar panel price – Rs.2400

50 watts solar panel price – Rs.3750

80 watts solar panel price – Rs.6000

100 watts solar panel price – Rs.7000

125 watts solar panel price – Rs.8750

These panels are comes with 5 years warranty. And Guaranteed Power Output of 90% for 10 Years and 80% for 25 Years.

The price of solar panels are dropped nearly 30% than it was listed on 2011 . Due to the large demand and fast growing , the solar industry is seeing its positive growth .
Currently solar panels are available between Rs.55-Rs.80 per watt with 25 years Guaranteed Power Output.

If you need to know more about the solar panels , how to get those panels for cheap price , what type of solar panels need to purchase ? , how solar plant works ? Just drop by your comments ..

Researchers Developed a new type of Escalator named Levytator to save Energy Usage -[Engineering]

Levytator - A new typw of escalator
While surfing over a good informatioin for StudentsCrunch ,i found this very interesting and it would be good to share with you.

We know Escalators but Levytator?

We'all know,or over a century, escalators have followed a fairly straight palt="levytator, escalator, energy saving"ath – with the exception of a few spiral and curved escalators found in few cities.Energy saving is a must to follow in our current growing techy world. To opt that , researcher at City University London has developed a new type of escalator called the Levytator.

How Levytator differs from traditional Escalator?
Levytator is capable of following freeform curves. You know ,how it is developed ? this is achieved by replacing the traditional rectangular steps with curved modules that also allows the modules to be placed in a continuous loop. Not only does this open up the design possibilities for architects, it could also cut energy usage in half compared to conventional escalators. Gizmag
