You are likely to tell me that 10-inch display is what exactly you want. Would you envy a person who stuffs a 7-inch tablet into his pocket and takes it to a nearly park with both hands free ?
On the contrary, you have to give up your fantastic handbag for a larger one due to the 10-inch size. There are a host of cases in which you need to take your tablet and an appropriate size will help you avoid a good deal of disappointment.
3. Slight defects to be reckoned with
We should not overlook some slight flaws when choosing a tablet. Note that Google Nexus 7 has no rear camera. If you prepare to use your tablet as a camera occasionally, you can’t ignore such a defect.
Another problem is additional storage. Kindle Fire does not provide any SD card slot to expand the storage, so does Nexus 7. Pay attention to the tablets rundown and eliminate the unqualified candidates ahead of time.
4. The brands, performances and prices
This seems to be the toughest step. In all probability, a tablet coming with high performance to price ratio is not the brand we like. On the other hand, we cannot pick out a suitable tablet from our favorite brands.

iPad Mini
Although there is no official news about the release of iPad Mini, many people do expect a smaller version of 9.7-inch iPad. We enjoy the wonderful experience on iPad and obviously, Apple will do a god job on its new weapon, if there is.
However, it is still challenging for apple to win the 7-inch battle as Google Nexus has accounted for a large proportion in the market. As far as price is concerned, we can’t count on a shocking price on little iPad as that is not Apple’s style. It might be a bit cheaper, but not much.

new iPad comes with better display (2048*1536), newer IOS (IOS 5.1), larger memory (1 GB), more advanced processor, and 500 MP rear camera.
It is unquestionably an ideal choice if you haven’t used any apple product before. However, the new iPad is not as hot as we firstly expect.
One reason might be that people who are fond of apple gadgets have owned iPad 2 already and the improvement on the new version is unworthy of extra expenditure.
Windows Surface
Microsoft said that its new product, Windows Surface, would come in two versions: Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro. In my opinion, they are more like substitutes for laptops than general tablets.
With its 10.6-inch display, Windows OS ( Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro respectively ) and Touch Cover, you will gain new experience when you are at work. However, we cannot get it currently until the Windows 8 is finally released.
10-inch device from Amazon
I wonder whether it’s right to call the Amazon’s 10-inch device as 10-inch Kindle Fire. Apparently, it will be given a grand new name. It is also uncertain that whether we have a chance to sneak it on Kindle Fire 2’s release day.
What has been unveiled by Chris Ziegler is that this 10-inch mystery doesn’t have a shocking back. The OS of it, which might be android or something else, still remains to be seen .
